A Marquette Chiropractic Practice Built On Thorough, Whole-Body Care Since 1995

Superior Family Chiropractic and Wellness opened in Marquette in 1995 and has grown into one of the area’s most established practices, largely through referrals and word of mouth. We are known for two things: a careful, whole-body approach to evaluation, and extensive experience with extremity care in the shoulders, knees, feet, and ankles. Our work brings lifestyle, movement, and spinal care together, so treatment addresses the cause of a problem rather than only its symptoms. On this page, you will meet the team and learn how we think about your health.

Our Mission: To Inspire Hope And Healing Through Personalized Care

Our mission is to inspire hope through personalized care and realistic wellness goals. We believe meaningful progress starts with identifying likely contributors, setting clear expectations, and supporting the daily habits that influence movement and function. That is why care brings lifestyle, movement, and spinal health together in one plan, with practical guidance patients can continue using outside the clinic.

Dr. Michael Osborne, D.C., C.C.W.P
Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner In Marquette

Dr. Osborne was born in San Francisco and spent most of his early life in lower Michigan. Because his grandparents were from the Copper Country, he spent many summers in the Upper Peninsula. As a child, he stood on the shore of Lake Superior in Marquette and decided he wanted to live here one day. He later tried to purchase the practice years before the timing finally worked, a history that reflects the persistence he brings to his work.

Dr. Osborne graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina in 1995. He earned his Certified Chiropractic Wellness Practitioner certification in 2008 after studying under Dr. James Chestnut. Today, Dr. Michael Osborne has been practicing chiropractic for more than 30 years and has performed over one million chiropractic adjustments.

Dr. Osborne believes great chiropractic care starts with listening to the patient, performing a thorough examination, clearly explaining the findings, and developing an individualized plan designed to help each patient reach their goals. His approach combines traditional chiropractic care with a detailed evaluation of spinal function, extremity joints, posture, gait, biomechanics, and lifestyle. He describes himself as an attentive listener and takes time to understand each patient’s health concerns and goals before recommending care.

Jessica Pesola, L.M.T.

NPI: 1710707203 | Michigan Massage Therapy License Number: 7501016442

My name is Jessica Pesola, and I am excited to introduce myself to the patients and families of Superior Family Chiropractic & Wellness.

I was born and raised in Marquette, Michigan, and I take great pride in serving the community that has given me so much throughout my life.

I’ve always embraced new opportunities and challenges. Over the years, I’ve raised two wonderful sons, owned a dance studio, worked as a house painter, held a real estate license, served on the Board of the Women’s Center, and volunteered in community arts organizations. Reinventing myself and continuing to grow has always been part of who I am.

At age 48, I decided to follow my passion for healing and enrolled in massage therapy school—a decision that has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

I believe learning never stops, and every class and experience helps me better serve my clients.

My specialty areas include the hips, neck, and back, but I enjoy treating the entire body, including the shoulders, forearms, hands, calves, and feet. Every massage is customized to the individual, ranging from gentle relaxation and myofascial release techniques to deeper therapeutic work when appropriate.

I graduated from Five Elements Massage Academy in Houghton, Michigan, became a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) in August 2024, and continue to pursue advanced education whenever possible. Most recently, I earned my Certified Medical Massage Therapist certification while studying in Costa Rica.

I also incorporate a variety of techniques, including:

  • Hot stones
  • Aromatherapy
  • Stretching
  • Activation techniques
  • Breathwork
  • Scalp and facial massage
  • WATSU-inspired concepts and other therapeutic modalities when appropriate

No two people are alike, and no two massages should be either. I believe in listening to my clients and providing the care that feels right for their unique needs.

My philosophy is simple:
If I don’t know something, I’ll learn it. If there’s a better way to help someone heal, I’ll find it.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you move, feel, and live better.

Warmly,
Jessica Pesola, LMT Licensed Massage Therapist Superior Family Chiropractic & Wellness
